Shipping & Returns


General Shipping

 

At ClassicElectricFireplace.com, we ship to mainland USA, with free shipping & handling. Generally, orders placed with us will leave the warehouse within 3-6 business days. Occasionally, due to unforeseen circumstances, an order will take up to 10 days to ship. If this happens we will be sure to contact you and let you know when your item will ship. Although your item may ship out immediately it may take longer than that to receive your tracking number. Tracking numbers will be sent you via email as soon as that information becomes available to us. Most orders will ship via UPS Ground, Fedex Ground or DHL. We reserve the right to use any carrier.

 

 

International Shipping

 

Unfortunately, we do not offer international shipping at this time.

 

Damages & Exchanges

 

Your satisfaction is our top priority. We sell only the finest quality products from reputable manufacturers, so we rarely have problems with any of our products. But if your item is damaged or defective in some way, we'll make sure you're taken care of.  Most of our products are backed by a manufacturer's warranty. If your item has a defect, please contact the manufacturer as instructed in the paperwork that came with the product. If you need help contacting the manufacturer, feel free to contact us.  If your product was damaged during shipping, contact us and we'll help you get the replacement parts you need or arrange for total replacement of the product at no cost to you. In some circumstances (impossibility to replace the product), we will issue a refund.

 

Returns

 

Please find your specific situation from the list of scenarios below to learn how we handle that particular situation:

 

1. You decided to cancel your order

 

If the order hasn't been processed yet, we can cancel the order and issue you a refund with no penalty (for instance if you made a mistake during the checkout process, and immediately signal the problem). If you do not cancel the order until after it has been processed, we will unfortunately not be able to cancel the order.

 

2. You received the product but the product is not working correctly, is missing parts, or is visibly damaged or deformed

 

If the item isn't working correctly, and it does not appear to have been damaged during shipping, please see the paperwork that came in the original box for instructions on how to file a warranty claim with the manufacturer. The manufacturer is responsible for any manufacturing defects or deficiencies with its products. (If the item is damaged or defective due to shipping damages, please see situation 3 directly below.)

 

3. You received an item that appears to have been damaged during shipping

Please notify the delivery person if your order looks damaged, and refuse delivery of all damaged or defective merchandise. Once delivery has been refused with the shipper, you will have the option to cancel the order for a full refund, or have a replacement shipped to you free of charge. If your order arrives with concealed damage please notify us immediately. We will need a detailed description of the damages or defects along with any additional supporting documents, like digital pictures, emailed to info@classicelectricfireplace.com . Once we have received this information we will file a freight claim with the shipper or manufacturer on your behalf. The shipper will then review the claim and, if approved, send you a check for the damages. Please note that we cannot guarantee payment of concealed damage freight claims, so please inspect your order carefully at the time of delivery and refuse any shipments that appear damaged to ensure a free replacement or full refund.
